Nunsense

Auditions for the musical play Nunsense by Dan Goggins will be at 6 p.m. - 9 p.m Tuesday January 6th  and Thursday January 8th at the "Little Theatre" in The Elk River High school. Door H Jackson parking lot entrance. Callbacks will be Friday January 9th at the theatre. Interested actors who cannot attend these audition dates may contact the Theatre at erct@erct.org to schedule an audition at a more convenient time. Performances will be: March 13, 14, and 15; March  20, 21, and 22, and  March  27, 28 and 29.  Eileen Bowersox will direct.

Those auditioning will be required to sing with accompaniment. Bring sheet or recorded music. An accompanist and CD playback are available; recorded accompaniment that includes a solo voice should be avoided.

A capella auditions are not acceptable. Dress comfortably as stage movement will be part of the audition. It will help the casting committee greatly if all those auditioning are prepared to sing at least one-minute up-tempo song and one-minute ballad in a Broadway style.

Auditions will include reading from the script; no advance practice is required.

Roles include five female actors ranging in apparent age from late teens through senior citizens. All must sing and move to music.

          A few necessary absences from rehearsal can be accommodated as long as dates are established at auditions; all those auditioning should bring a detailed calendar of their obligations from auditions through the last performance date.

Volunteers are also needed for all production tasks, including sets, props and house duties. No previous theatrical experience is necessary.
